The atmosphere and vibe was great the night we went. The food was delicious. We actually ordered a second round of the zucchini chips and the mussels in Marinara with the bread. Although everything tasted great. We mostly opted to have appetizers and sharables with a few entrees but it was overall great! Our waitress was patient and great with our group. Especially with the pandemic causing some adjustments in the restaurant industry she was great. I'm sorry I don't remember her name!
Just outstanding. Great beer, cocktail, and food selection - and everything we chose was great. Roasted beets, roast pork sandwich, short rib ragu, pot de crème, seasonal cocktails…. Everything was delicious. Service was wonderful and fast. The space was beautiful. Literally the only downside would be the noise level but it’s an old building, a very busy bar… it’s to be expected, really. And everything was so good, I didn’t care. Can’t wait to go back!
Great ambience and Service.. Food menu slightly disappointed but loved that they had many vegetarian options.. Drink menu is fantastic.. unfortunately they didn't have any desserts when we visited! Did I say that the service was great?
I spent a beautiful Spring night at Split Rail with friends. I had only ever been to Split Rail for the beer (which they do have a wide selection!), so it was fun to finally try their food! We very much enjoyed the wings, and the burger was delicious. If you're looking for a restaurant with a great beer selection and outdoor seating in the Borough, this is the place!
Split Rail is my new favorite spot in West Chester! I went for dinner this past weekend and our server was Katie. She was so knowledgeable about the menu and the beer! She is a wealth of beer information! The service is as undeniably good and so was the food. Best steak I’ve ever eaten. Cooked to perfection. Could not be happier with our experience!
Great atmosphere, good selection of ipa beers, Wings were really good. I would go back just for them, there fries were amazing tasted just like five guys hamburger fries, also had a bacon cheese burger which wasn’t bad, only problem is I wish they had a little bigger of a food menu. Wife and I will definitely be back
We visit every year from Colorado for the mussels. We took friends last night and Sarah was AWESOME! We had mussels and chicken wings, both delicious 💖
I had dinner at Split Rail last night. The service was absolutely impeccable. Thank you, Jack, you’re a true king! I ordered the clams and linguini and it was absolutely beyond. My friend got lobster ravioli and it was so good! Blown away by my experience! OH, the Split Rail old fashioned is hands down the best alcoholic beverage in West Chester! KEEP IT UP!
